Dear Minister Horner:
On behalf of the Bow Valley College community, I am pleased to
submit our 2010-2014 Business Plan as endorsed by the Board of
Governors on May 26, 2010.
This
business plan establishes a clear framework from which Bow Valley
College will manage a challenging fiscal environment yet still
advance long-term strategic priorities.
As a
proud partner in Campus Alberta and the Comprehensive Community
College for Calgary and its surrounding regional communities, we are
committed to enhancing access throughout our service region.
Together with government, a network of partners, and community
supporters, we will provide innovative adult education programs and
services that equip people for lifelong learning and full
participation in Alberta’s economy. We will do this in alignment
with government priorities to encourage economic and social
well-being.
This 2010-2014 Business Plan was informed by consultations with
college stakeholders, including our learners and clients, program
advisory committees, faculty and staff, managers and executive and
was prepared to deliver on the strategic principles set out by the
Board of Governors, as laid out on pages 12 to 15 of the business
plan.
Should you wish to discuss any of the details contained in the Bow
Valley College 2010-2014 Business Plan, please feel free to contact
me.
