Alumni
Award intended for students who have graduated or completed their program goal

Application
Students complete an electronic application form available at bvcawards.ca

Award
Any financial assistance or payment (grant, loan, scholarship, bursary or prize)

Bursary
An award given primarily on the basis of financial need; however, other criteria or conditions may be included

Enrolled
Student is registered at BVC and attending classes

Entrance scholarships and bursaries
Award designated for students who have applied in a full-time or part-time BVC credit based program for the first time or have graduated from ESL or Academic Foundations and applied to a career program

In-course scholarships and bursaries
Award designated for students who are registered in a full-time or part-time BVC credit based program

Nomination
Students are selected by program faculty and/or student services representatives upon demonstration of academic achievement, in-class leadership, financial need etc...

Reduced course load
Student taking less than a full course load and has been approved for full-time funding under the recommendation of a medical professional

Registered
Student has applied to a Bow Valley College program, has qualified, been accepted, confirmed and paid the tuition and fees

Scholarship
An award given primarily in recognition of excellence in academic achievement; however, other criteria or conditions may be included

Transition scholarships and bursaries
Award designated for students who are bridging from one BVC program to another
