Accessing Online Databases at Bow Valley College

BVC's membership in the Lois Hole Campus Alberta Digital Library (LHCADL) provides BVC staff, faculty, and students with access to a variety of databases through: EBSCOhost, ProQuest, Gale, and WorldBook. |

To access the online databases from off-campus you are required to login with your Library ID and PIN.
If you are a student:
- Your login is your Library ID found on the back of your student card. It is your student ID number with the prefix BVC, i.e., BVC123456.
- Your PIN is a 4 digit number which is the last 4 digits of your phone number you've given to the Registrar's office.
- Passwords can be reset by visiting the LLC.
if you are a BVC staff or faculty:
- You need to have a library account. Please contact the LLC if you have not registered for a library account.
- Your library ID will be your employee ID number with the prefix BVC, i.e., BVC98765.
- Your PIN is the last 4 digits of your work phone number or it will be defaulted to 1111.
- Passwords can be reset by visiting the LLC.
On-campus computers, you will automatically be logged in.
