This course requires that you have following minimum PC computer set up:

• Internet access
• Printer
• Pentium IV (or equivalent) - 1 GHz processor or higher
• 256 Mb RAM (512 Mb is required for Windows Vista)
• 2 gigabyte (GB); a portion of this disk space will be freed after installation if the original download package is removed from the hard drive
• Microsoft Windows XP with Service Pack (SP) 2, Windows Server 2003 with SP1, or later operating system²
• Internet Explorer 7.0 and above, Mozilla Firefox 4.0 and above, Google Chrome, Safari 5.0 and above
• 1024x768 or higher resolution monitor
• Mouse
• CD-ROM
• USB Key/Memory Key
• Speakers and/or a headset to listen to the audio portions of the videos and the PowerPoint slideshows
• Actual requirements and product functionality may vary based on your system configuration and operating system

Go through the Blackboard On-Line Orientation for more details about your course tools. Be sure you have any pop-up blocker deactivated when using Blackboard or WebCT.

You will also need to have the following applications installed on your computer:

• Adobe Reader
• Adobe Flash Player
• Microsoft Office Word 2007 (Can be purchased through the Bow Valley College Bookstore)
