Bow Valley College knows that education is perhaps one of the biggest and best investments you can make. We have all the supports you need to help you succeed.

Student Advisors
You can meet with one of our many Student Advisors to discuss your career goals, admissions/placement test results, or your financial aid options.

Counselling and Specialized Support
If you are a prospective student with complex learning or life challenges, our Counselling & Specialized Support team is available to promote your academic and personal success as you enter Bow Valley College and throughout your academic career with us.

Student Affairs Office
The Student Affairs Office at BVC supports your academic and professional pursuits. The office is responsible for new student orientation, promoting student initiatives, developing leadership potential, and is an advocate on behalf of student rights and the betterment of student life on campus.

Financial Aid
Financial assistance is available for all eligible Bow Valley College students. With a healthy Financial Aid Program, our Financial Aid team can help you access funds to get the education that's right for you.

Scholarships and Awards
Last year, BVC students received over a half a million dollars in scholarships, bursaries and awards. Our Student Awards Program is based on the distribution of bursaries, scholarships, and awards that focus on your needs. They can help you pay for child care, tuition, or simply help you continue your studies.

Aboriginal Student Centre
Bow Valley College stands on the sacred territory of the Blackfoot peoples. First Nations, Métis, and Inuit are a valued part of our community. The BVC Aboriginal Student Centre was created to be a gathering place and offers assistance and support to Aboriginal students and those interested in furthering their education at the College.

Keeping you Connected
At Bow Valley College, we offer free wireless connections throughout the College with a number of student study and socializing spaces to connect you with other learners ... and the world. You can remain up to date on all BVC activities and access a variety of online services including unofficial transcripts, timetables, and income tax receipts through your own myBVC email account and the Student Web Portal.

Academic Support Centre: Library and Learning Commons
The Academic Support Centre: Library and Learning Commons is the information hub of the College. This state-of-the-art centre, provides you with a variety of services to help you succeed during your Bow Valley College education. The Library and Learning Commons' (LLC) services include Library and Information Services, Testing Services, Learner Technology Support, and other initiatives.

YWCA Child Care Centre at BVC
If you are a prospective student with children, the YWCA has a new on-site state-of-the-art child care centre. The clean and bright new play space is not only a safe and welcoming environment for your child, it is also an integral part of our own Early Learning and Child Care program where BVC students can observe and participate in your child's growth and education.
