ACADEMIC UPGRADING AND EMPLOYMENT PREPARATION


Speech-Assisted Reading and Writing (SARAW) and Speech-Assisted Math (SAM)

SARAW is a talking computer program that teaches basic reading, writing and math skills. This computer program is for adults who are reading and writing at levels between beginners and Grade 6. The course is designed for adults who have physical or developmental disabilities. Accompanying support workers are trained as tutors to help with all aspects of the course. Tutors may be supplied for students who do not have a support worker.
