Learn the principles and actions of medications, the rationale for
medication use and expected results. This course emphasizes critical

medications. The course includes 18 hours of nursing practice lab.

Nurses (LPNs) in performing the preparation and administration
of immunizations. The course builds on previous LPN coursework
in pharmacology and medication administration. This course
provides new knowledge, skills, attitudes, and judgements

certified to administer immunizing/biological agents.
Prerequisite:
The applicant for this course must be an LPN who holds an active
license and has
successfully completed training in Intramuscular and Intradermal

This course provides instruction and practice to learn medical
transcription skills. Content includes roles and responsibilities,
transcription guidelines, internet use, medical terminology, medical
records, reports and correspondence, grammar, spelling, proofing,

skill evaluation are completed at the end of the course.
