build your writing vocabulary

Listening and Speaking

distinguish between formal and informal English; and,
recognize and practice idioms in common use
Note: The Mon. & Wed. morning classes are high
intermediate only.

Pronunciation
This intermediate to advanced level pronunciation course
introduces
you to strategies and techniques to improve your spoken English.
Pronunciation is a computer-assisted course and is offered in 2
cycles.
There is no prerequisite for either cycle.
In Cycle A, you:
compare and contrast the production of vowel sounds; and,
compare and contrast the production of consonant sounds
In Cycle B, you:
learn correct word and sentence stress;
practice intonation and rhythm patterns; and
focus on improving listening skills
Cycle A is not a requirement for Cycle B.

This is an advanced-level ESL class focusing on the language
of business.
