ENGLISH AS A SECOND LANGUAGE (ESL)
Part-Time ESL Programs
The ESL department offers a wide variety of part-time courses. Courses
are offered at various times throughout the day and evening, from
beginner to advanced levels.
To register for part-time ESL programs:
You can register at the Main Campus, 2nd Floor, Registrar’s Office, 332
– 6 Avenue S.E. in person, or you can register by phone (403) 410-1400
using a credit card. The Registrar’s Office is open 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.,
Monday through Thursday and until 4 p.m. on Friday. All registrations are processed on a first come,
first served basis. Visa students will pay the visitors’ fees. Late Fee:
All part-time programs are subject to a $10 fee for late registration
($20 for international students)
To register for part-time LINC:
Applicants for the Language Instruction for Newcomers to Canada (LINC)
program must be referred by the Immigrant Language and Vocational
Referral Centre (ILVARC),
(403) 262-2656. There is no charge to eligible applicants for LINC
classes. You must be a landed immigrant or have refugee status. For more
