Life Skills Coach Certificate
The first year of the Life Skills and Career Development Coach Diploma
program focuses on Life Skills Coaching, a skill-based, experiential
program engaging learners in a living lab environment. The program
provides direction and instruction for you to become an advanced
facilitator/leader of process-based learning groups. The program
prepares you to deal effectively with student issues and guide/coach
students through the
stages of self-discovery, behaviour identification, acquisition of
knowledge, transferability and application of skills. You will gain
the competencies necessary to create, manage, and evaluate a program
framework for the delivery of essential skills for life/work.

Following successful completion of the Life Skills Coach
Certification
program, graduates will be recommended to pursue their Internship
for
Group Certification, a two credit, off-site, elective offering.
