CAREERS IN HUMAN SERVICES
Out-Of-School Programming For School-Age Children Certificate - Part-Time
This Certificate
prepares you to work with five to 14-year old children in childcare,
recreation and community centres, and other group settings. Develop
the skills and understanding to facilitate relevant, age-appropriate
programs and activities for school-age children, and understand
operational functions such as health and safety standards, policies
and records. Courses within the program are available through
part-time studies
(evenings and weekends) and online.
Note: This program is being offered at our new Franklin Station
Campus.

Certificate are available online. Registration for online courses is
ongoing. Courses start the first Monday of each month.

Successful completion of the General Equivalency Development
test (GED) with a standard score of 520 in Language Arts:
