FULL-TIME FUNDING OPTION

Once you have been accepted into a full-time program at Bow Valley College, you will need to know how to finance your education.

Funding options for FULL-TIME students:

Alberta Works Grant Funding
If you are taking ESL, Upgrading, or a Career Certificate, you may be eligible for grant funding through Alberta Works.

*To be considered for Alberta Works funding, you must be accepted to a full-time program and complete an interview with a Bow Valley College Student Advisor for funding authorization.

Canada/Alberta Student Loans
If you are taking a Post-Secondary Career Certificate or a Diploma Program, you may be eligible for loans, grants, and bursaries available through the Student Finance Board. For more information go to: http://www.alis.gov.ab.ca/studentsfinance

*Students can apply online for Student Loans!
Note: If you are not a resident of Alberta, you must apply for loans through your Province of residency.

Third Party Sponsorship
This could be financial assistance from Parents, Employers, Bands, Associations, Churches, or other third party Agencies.

Student Line of Credit
Offered through participating banking institutions. Contact your bank for further information.
