Academic Excellence Scholarship Health and Community Care top ^
This award has been set up from proceeds from the annual golf tournament at Bow Valley College. Each year a variety of community partners come together to plan and execute a golf tournament in support of Bow Valley College. The purpose is to recognize students for their academic achievement and leadership qualities and experience.
Value: $1,000 each
Disbursement: 4 awards each year
(4 scholarships of $1,000 each will be awarded at an annual awards ceremony)
Awards will be disbursed between January and December)

Bea Hunter Eastern Star Bursary top ^
This award has been set up in memory of Bea Hunter who was a long standing member of the Chinook Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star. Bea had a great sense of commitment to her community and to her family and always believed in providing a hand up to individuals in the community who face challenges. Bea had a great love of the health sector; it was always a dream of hers to become a nurse. This award is created with the intention of providing recognition to a student at Bow Valley College in the Practical Nurse program.
Amount: $1000 each (for 2010 only) . $500 for following years

Bethany Care Society Excellence In Practical Nursing Scholarship top ^
Bethany Care Society is a leading employer and innovator in the delivery of health care services for seniors and persons with disabilities. Bethany's mission of Creating Caring Communities has led to the funding of this award to support students who have shown excellent care skills through their practicum placements and have a keen interest in a career in the long term
care sector.

This award is to encourage Bow Valley College students who want to change their life by furthering their education.

The Foundation for Seniors Care Hearts of Excellence Foundation was established in 2006 through the generous donations of individuals who believe in the importance and professionalism needed to provide exceptional senior care. This award is intended for students nearing completion of their program who have demonstrated academic excellence in their program that prepares them for a career in the health care field.
Value: $500 (4 Awards 2009- 10 or two years)

Hearts of Excellence Practical Nurse Award top ^
The Foundation for Seniors Care Hearts of Excellence Foundation was established in 2006 through the generous donations of individuals who believe in the importance and professionalism needed to provide exceptional senior care. This award is intended for students nearing completion of their program who have demonstrated academic excellence in their program that prepares them for a career in the health care field.
Value: $1,000 (3 Awards 2009- 10 or two years)
Disbursement: 1 Fall 1 Spring for full time students in the PN Program 1 Summer student in the part-time PN Program (2 for FT, 1 for PT)
Consideration: Highest Grade Point Average at the end of the 3rd semester of the PN Program and student is returning for the 4th semester.

Grand & Toy has established this award to celebrate a student with academic excellence in the Pharmacy Technician Program.

Janice Ulrich Memorial Scholarship top ^
This scholarship has been initiated by Carrie McCulley and friends in memory of Janice Ulrich who was a student in the Correctional Studies program. Janice was an outstanding student and is remembered for her enthusiasm, drive and determination. This scholarship will provide recognition to a student at Bow Valley College in the Correctional Studies program.
