LINC Career Services

Group and individual career coaching services for eligible LINC participants.

Our career coaches provide you with the skills to find employment. Our services include:

  • Access to no-cost, one-to-one career coaching
  • Job search workshops
  • Resume and cover letter preparation 
  • Interview practice
  • Career planning and action plans
  • Job matching

To be eligible for this no-cost service you must qualify for the Language Instruction for Newcomers to Canada (LINC) program.

Directions for Immigrants in Trades and Professional Careers

Helping internationally educated professionals secure professional employment and gain accreditation.

We are a no-cost career centre that works with professionals in all occupations. Restart your career and learn about effective job search strategies, labour market information, licensing processes, and employer expectations. Our services include:

Youth Career Services

Career services for young professionals, aged 30 and under.

Youth Skills Connection

We help job ready youth gain employability skills. This 20 week program for youth aged 15 - 30, includes eight weeks of paid employment preparation and 12 weeks of paid work experience. We help youth overcome barriers to employment and develop a broad range of skills and experience that enable them to seek, obtain, and maintain employment.

Find a customer service job

Career Lab’s one-on-one career coaching includes résumé writing tips, interview preparation, job search techniques, networking help, and employer introductions. Earn a customer service micro-credential that will help you get a job. We offer virtual and in-person services.

Mentorship for Rural Immigrants

A no-cost and flexible program to help rural immigrants improve their communication skills in the Canadian workplace.

Participants are paired with a mentor in their community. Together, mentees and mentors will review and discuss key topics, including:

  • Canadian Culture in the Workplace
  • Communication and Soft Skills
  • Digital Literacy
  • Career and Employment Strategies
