Reply to a Public Discussion Message

To reply to a discussion board posting, start by opening your Discussions. This is located on the Course Tools menu on the left hand side of the course Homepage or at the top of your course Homepage.

Follow the Steps:

To reply to a discussion posting, click on a topic where the message is located.
Once you have opened the Topic, locate the message that you want to open. Click on the message.
Your message will open and display in a new window. Click on Reply located on the left hand side below the previous message.
Type in a message, then click on Post located on the left hand side at the bottom of the Reply window.
After you click on Reply, your message will be posted to the public discussions. The message will now be pubic and your class will be able to read the message.
