Testing services are located in Room 175. There are two testrooms; one for computer-based testing and one for paper-based testing.
The following Testroom Policies and Procedures have been implemented. Staff, faculty, and students are expected to respect and follow the policies and procedures.
LRS Testroom Guidelines For Learners

- Present your picture identification card and your Testroom Authorization form upon request from the Testroom supervisor. You will not be permitted to write your test/exam without a Testroom Authorization form AND a picture ID.
- Leave books and bags in your locker. You may take your wallet, purse, i.e., valuables with you into the Testroom.
- Cell Phones/Blackberry/Pagers MUST be turned off. If you are seen by the Testroom Supervisor talking on and/or using your cell phone/PDA while writing a test. The Testroom Supervisor will take your test away and you will not be permitted to continue writing the test. Your instructor will be informed of the incident.
- Sign in on the LRS Testroom Log Sheet. Indicate if the test is on the Computer (Y, N).
- Take only what the Instructor permits into the Testroom. LRS will supply scrap paper and any formula sheets you may require.
- No loitering or talking in the Testroom Area.
- No loitering or talking while in the Testrooms. If you are seen by the Testroom Supervisor talking to someone in the testroom, the Testroom Supervisor will take the tests away from all those who were talking and they will not be permitted to continue writing the test. Your instructor will be informed of the incident.
- NO leaving the Testroom while writing a test, except as outlined below. If you leave the Testroom, your test is considered finished and you will not be permitted back into the Testroom to continue writing.
- NO leaving the Testroom to use the restroom unless it is an emergency. If you do have to use the restroom, you will be chaperoned there and back.
- Paper testswill be given to you by the Testroom Supervisor, which will be time and date stamped at entry and exit.
- Computer tests, log-on to the computer and locate your test. The Testroom Supervisor may be required to enter a password before you can begin.
- If you have problems with the computer terminals, please ask for assistance.
- The Testroom Supervisor will make occasional walk-throughs to check on students, tidy up and do other necessary checks on Testroom equipment and supplies.
- When your computer test is complete, click on "Finish" and then submit for grading.
- Hand in your paper test (and roughwork, if requested by Instructor) to the Testroom Supervisor when you leave. You are not permitted to take any papers with you when you leave the Testroom area. All papers must be thrown out in the recycling bin. No Exceptions.
- If the Testroom Supervisor suspects you of cheating, they will approach and question you. If suspicions are confirmed then, or later, the Testroom Supervisor will take your test away and you will not be permitted to continue writing. Your instructor will be informed of the incident.
- If you have questions about the test, make a note on the test and then discuss this with your instructor. Testroom supervisors cannot comment on or discuss the tests given out to the students.
- All exams are filed and picked up by the instructor.
