Former premier joins Bow Valley College to honour outstanding students

CALGARY, May 25, 2009 – The former premier of Alberta, Ralph Klein, returns to Bow Valley College to honour recipients of the Ralph and Colleen Klein Scholarship during the Celebrating Student Futures Awards Ceremony on Wednesday, May 27.

Klein and his wife, Colleen, will join the three students who will be announced as the recipients of the $1,600 award recognizing academic competence and financial need.

All donors will be seated with their respective award recipients during the ceremony, which features guest speaker Dr. Bill DuPerron, the College’s Dean of Health and Community Care.

When: May 27, 2009 3:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Where: Calgary Chamber of Commerce, Fourth Floor,  100 Sixth Avenue SW
