English Language Proficiency Requirements
The following are the Language Proficiency Requirements for admission to Bow Valley College's career certificate and diploma programs. Please note these are not the complete admissions requirements for each program; for a complete list of academic and other admission requirements, please see the listing for that program.
Applicants whose first language is NOT English must demonstrate ONE of the following:

Successful completion of an Alberta Education English Language Arts course that is consistent with the specified academic admission requirements for the Career Program

Transcripts demonstrating successful completion of one year of full-time post secondary education at a school where English was the language of instruction
