Introduction to Working with Students with Disabilities
In this course, you will learn strategies for effectively working with students with disabilities. You will investigate some of the most common types of disabilities (learning disabilities, mobility disabilities, vision impairments, and hearing impairments) and the types of strategies you can use to effectively support these students. Issues related to working with students with disabilities (eg: privacy, legal right to accommodations, language) will also be discussed.
