Immunization - Online or Homestudy
This course is designed to meet the needs of Licensed Practical Nurses in performing the preparation and administration of immunizations. The course builds on previous LPN coursework in pharmacology and medication administration. This course provides new knowledge, skills, attitudes, and judgments necessary to become certified to administer immunizing/biological agents.
Prerequisite:
- The applicant for this course must be an LPN who holds an active license and has successfully passed an Intramuscular and Intradermal Injection course approved by the College of Licensed Practical Nurses. Graduates of Alberta-based LPN programs as of 2006 have this prerequisite.
Student must provide registry number upon registration.
$295.00 plus GST (plus $8.33 ECA technology fee if taken online)
