Aboriginal Practical Nurse Diploma

This program provides the knowledge and skills required of a Practical Nurse in the context of Aboriginal culture and values. Aboriginal perspectives on wellness, spirituality, community, and traditional healing methods are considered alongside Western traditions.

Aboriginal content is fully integrated into the core curriculum and affiliation and commitment to working with Aboriginal populations is required.

This program is offered in partnership with Aboriginal communities and location and intake dates will vary accordingly. Currently the program is only being delivered on a contract basis and applications from the general public are not being accepted.
