You’ve already been told that entrepreneurship isn’t for everyone.
It’s not for the faint of heart.
You need thick skin. You’re going to face a lot of rejection.
You might fail.
You say “bring it on!”
Deep down, you already know, even if you did fail, you’d rather fail chasing your dreams than succeed living someone else’s life.
You think differently, you see the world differently, and you know – maybe you’ve always known – that you were meant for more in this life.
People like you – those alive with entrepreneurial spirit – is who we live to serve. Our team at Bow Valley College are not just educators. They are entrepreneurs. When you study entrepreneurship at Bow Valley College, you will be learning from founders who have been there, done that, and are still doing it right now.
Our team includes several founders, many of whom have founded multiple companies and been through successful mergers and acquisitions. More importantly, they’ve been through the experience of facing fear and doubt head on, taking the risks, and starting a company to chase their dreams. Our team helps our students do just that every single day in various ways.
When you choose Bow Valley College to prepare yourself for life as an entrepreneur, you will be gaining valuable knowledge in the classroom, and even more importantly, practical skills in and outside of the classroom through various networking events, mentorship programs, our VentureQuest competition, and so much more.
Who knows what your finish line will look like?
Your start line begins at Bow Valley College.
This is our flagship student entrepreneurship program, a 5-month long competition, free to enter for any active Bow Valley College student, where students can win up to $10,000. Started in 2014, VentureQuest has seen over 100 students design and launch their own companies, and shared in over $150,000 in prizes.
Students are coached through the process of ideation, selecting a target market, their sales and marketing strategy, business finance, and finally – putting together a compelling business plan and learning how to pitch their business to investors or potential customers.
