About

Corrine Ferguson is a medical sociologist with a Master of Arts in Medical Sociology and research experience in academic integrity and student well-being. Her recent published work includes research on contract cheating and student stress, as well as academic integrity inclusivity and accessibility in post-secondary institutions. Teaching courses in Introduction to Sociology, Sociology of Aging, Health and Illness, and Death and Dying, Ferguson brings both Canadian and US research and teaching experience to her role at Bow Valley College since 2013. She currently leads college-wide initiatives to improve academic integrity through equity, diversity, inclusion, accessibility, and mental health approaches. Ferguson has media interview experience and prefers written format responses, offering expert commentary on academic integrity, student stress and mental health, and post-secondary education challenges.
