Course Description

This course provides an overview of the physical, social, emotional, moral, and cognitive changes that occur during middle childhood and adolescence. Students explore key developmental theories and interaction strategies while examining typical and atypical development, as well as the social environments that shape growth and the transition from childhood to adolescence.
