At Bow Valley College, we believe every student deserves a learning environment where they can thrive. If you’re facing barriers to learning—whether from a documented disability or another reason protected by the Alberta Human Rights Act—Accessibility Services is here for you.

We’ll work with you to create academic accommodations that support your unique learning needs and help you access your courses equitably. To make sure everything’s in place before your classes begin, please reach out at least four weeks before the start of term by calling 403-410-1440 or emailing us at accessibility@bowvalleycollege.ca.

Documentation Requests

To obtain the necessary documentation for accommodations, you can:

• Download and print the Functional Limitation Form for your doctor or medical practitioner to complete.
• Calgary Catholic School District: if you received accommodations while attending classes at a Calgary Catholic School, please visit FOIP & Student Records - Calgary Catholic School District for further information on how to request and obtain your records.‍
• For students from the Foothills School Division, visit their website Records & Transcripts for instructions on how to request your records.
