Course Description

This course explores the development of communication strategies within a Computer Security Incident Response Team (CSIRT), focusing on aligning practices with NIST 800-61 and ISO 27035. Students will design communication workflows that serve as technical security controls, support regulatory compliance, and promote operational continuity. Through practical application, students will build escalation procedures and incident messaging frameworks tailored to executive leadership, regulatory bodies, and affected stakeholders.
