Course Description

This course examines multiculturalism and its relationship to the criminal justice system in Canada. Students explore ethnic, racial, religious, and cultural diversity within Canada’s multicultural framework, with an emphasis on Indigenous histories and traditions. The course also considers how these issues relate to policing, corrections, and other areas of the justice system, while building skills to work effectively with diverse communities.
