Students examine the effects of prenatal alcohol exposure on individuals, families, communities, and broader systems. They explore ethical considerations, the diagnosis process for Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD), and the complex behaviours associated with FASD. The course also focuses on identifying needs, prioritizing supports, and reviewing services available to individuals living with FASD and their families.
