If you like to cycle to school, you’re in luck! Calgary boasts the most extensive bike pathway system in North America, with over 1,000 kilometers of paths connecting neighborhoods, parks, and key destinations. You’ll find dedicated bike lanes integrated with roadways, or you can take the Bow River Pathway for a more scenic, relaxed ride into school.
Once on campus, take advantage of our two secure bike lock ups: inside the South Campus parkade or the North Campus exterior bike cage on 3rd Street and 6th Avenue SE. Students access secure bike storage facilities through SABVC. Staff and faculty can contact Campus Services.

Prefer to get around on foot? Downtown Calgary is particularly pedestrian friendly.
There are several routs to choose from: the Bow River Pathway is a scenic option, especially in spring and summer. You can run or walk into the downtown core and then catch the CTrain through the free fare zone.
CTrain: The Bow Valley College CTrain Station is just steps away, making it one of the easiest ways to get to Bow Valley College.
The CTrain Free Fare Zone: Ride for free along 7th Avenue between 8 Street SW and City Hall/Bow Valley College Station, the entire width of Calgary’s downtown core.
Bus: Our main campus is served directly by several bus routes, with additional stops within a short walking distance. To find the bus route that is best for you go to the Calgary Transit website for a full list of schedules, maps, and info on the Calgary Transit app.

On weekends and evenings after 5 p.m., public paid parking is available at the West Campus surface parking lot located at 300, 6 Avenue SE. There is a pay-by-plate machine located at the West Surface Lot.
Carpool parking stalls are located closest to the elevator lobbies in the South Campus parkade. Contact Precise ParkLink at calgary@preciseparklink.ca or 403-802-6166 to inquire on renting the stalls.
