Students are expected to pay all tuition and fees by the payment deadline. If you have outstanding fees from previous terms, you are expected to pay this in full as soon as possible. Failure to pay any outstanding amounts may result in an overdue fee, suspension, and/or withdrawal (termination) from the College.
Overdue Notice: If you have not paid your overdue fees, you will have an overdue alert placed on your account. This means: you will be charged a $50 late payment fee, your next semester classes will be dropped, and you will not receive final grades, transcripts, college letters or be able to graduate.
If you pay your overdue fees, the alert will be lifted however you will not be put back into your dropped classes. This is your responsibility.
Suspension and Withdrawal from courses: If payment is not made after the last day of classes, a suspension will be placed on your account. Following that, we may withdraw (terminate) you from your courses and/or program. You will still be responsible for paying your tuition and fees. In addition to the penalties of suspension, this means: outstanding fees can be sent to a collection agency, you will not be allowed to graduate or attend the graduation ceremony, you will be prevented from registering or applying to future courses or programs, and the College will not issue final grades, transcripts, parchments, or letters for you.

Yes, Bow Valley College has bike cage lockers that students can use through the Students' Association of Bow Valley College (SABVC).
Eligibility: Every student of Bow Valley College can avail themselves of the BVC bike cage program. A $30 cash deposit is required for an access card, which will be returned if the access card is no longer needed. They must be currently enrolled in a program and having a valid @mybvc email address. They must fill out Bike Cage Forms available online, and they must pay a $30 cash deposit for the access card.

There is no time limit or expiration on courses you've completed to be used to qualify for admission into post-secondary programs. Where time limits or expiration may be involved are the following two scenarios: applying to the High School Academic Upgrading programs or applying for transfer credit.

ASN stands for Alberta Student Number. ASNs are required to register with Bow Valley College as a public education institution in Alberta.
For many students who were educated in Alberta previously, they already have an ASN (even from as early as Kindergarten). If you did not enroll/complete any schooling here in Alberta (or perhaps if you completed education at a private education provider), then you may not have an ASN.
The Alberta Learner Registry website has both a look-up ASN option and a create ASN option you can use to look-up or generate an ASN for yourself. Everyone only gets one ASN, so if you already have one, the system will flag that and tell you what your number is.

Bow Valley College does not pre-assess students for admission. To determine if you qualify for admission, you must first submit an application to the program you are interested in. Admissions will evaluate your eligibility and advise you on your next steps. If you do not currently qualify for admission, Admissions will communicate your recommended next steps to complete any admission requirements you do not meet.
