Step 2.

To begin your application, have this information ready:

  • Your Alberta Student Number (ASN). If you have applied to or attended a school or post-secondary institution in Alberta, you will already have an ASN.  To find your ASN, you can use the ASN Lookup service. If you do not have an ASN, the ApplyAlberta system will assign one to you.
  • High school courses and marks (for currently enrolled Canadian students only). Not from Alberta? Check here for high school course equivalencies by province.
If you have everything, you can begin your application on ApplyAlberta! Be sure to keep this page open to complete the next steps after you apply.

If you attended a public high school or a post-secondary institution in Alberta, you can create an account on myPass. You can then access and view your Alberta Education transcripts online.

You must provide proof of enrolment if you are currently attending a post-secondary institution.

Your application will be delayed if you do not provide the required transcripts or proof of enrolment.
