No. The Practical Nurse program does not allow pathway or delivery-mode changes. Each pathway is independently registered, runs at capacity, and often has waitlists (up to one year). Switching is not a simple administrative change. Students who believe they qualify for an accommodation must apply through Services for Students with Disabilities or Equity, Diversity & Inclusion. Approvals for pathway changes are very limited.
Students at Bow Valley College can meet with the Assistive Technology Advisor to discuss what assistive software and features will work best for their computer and individual needs. Assistive technology options are available to students for free but students with disabilities who qualify for funding through Alberta Student Aid may be eligible for grants that can cover the cost of additional or alternative options.

You can book tests in Accommodate. You will need to select Student and log into the account using your BVC credentials. Once logged in, the Testing Room feature can be found on the panel on the left-hand side. If you are missing this feature, you can email LSSExams@bowvalleycollege.ca for troubleshooting support.
You can submit your documentation via email at accessibility@bowvalleycollege.ca or by dropping off at Learner Success Services (1st Floor South Campus). Please note, you do not need to make an appointment to drop off documentation.
