Digital Design - Apprenticeship Style

This unique program combines an accredited college diploma with hands-on, part-time work in the design industry. Starting in Term 2, you’ll apply your learning on real-world projects while developing creative skills in digital and print media including websites, e-publications, applications, and interactive multimedia products. You’ll gain experience working individually and in teams, and learn to present, defend, and critique projects while meeting client needs, scope, and resources.

  • Credit in English 30-1, or 65% in English 30-2, or equivalent

  • Successful completion of the General Education Development test (GED) with a standard score of 520 in Language Arts: Reading and Writing

Minimum Technology Requirements
  • Laptop: Intel i7/i9 CPU, 16GB RAM (32GB recommended), 15” 1080p screen, dedicated graphics card with 2GB VRAM, 512GB SSD (1TB recommended), portable backup drive, Windows 10+ (Mac not supported)
  • Software: Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, Adobe Express (additional course-specific software may be required)
